Launch of JOTS 12

The Old Tuam Society has great pleasure in announcing the launch event for the 12th edition of the Journal of The Old Tuam Society. JOTS 12 will be officially launched by author and lecturer Dr. Gerard Moran in the Corralea Court Hotel, Tuam at 8.00 pm on Friday, the 20th of November, 2015. This year's bumper edition is our largest yet includes articles on a world record basketball attempt, an insight into Tuam 200 years ago, Tuam's Last Kruger and incidents from Anglo-Irish War 1919-1921 in the area. Our cover story is a moving tribute to Lt. Aengus Murphy who was killed on UN peace-keeping duty 30 years ago next August. We are sure there will be something to interest everyone and look forward to seeing you at our launch.
