Launch of JOTS 10

The Old Tuam Society has great pleasure in announcing the launch event for the 10th edition of the Journal of The Old Tuam Society. JOTS 10 will be officially launched by the Major of Tuam, Imelda Kelly, in the Synod Hall at St. Mary's Cathedral, Tuam at 8.30 pm on Friday, the 22nd of November, 2013. This year's packed edition of JOTS includes articles on diverse topics such as the archaeology of the “Wonderful Castle”, the dramatic events surrounding the Tuam Hunger Strike of 1978, and matters sporting with Galway’s controversial All-Ireland Football Semi Final victory over Cavan at Parkmore. We hope this 10th anniversary edition will be enjoyed by our loyal readers and all with an interest in local history.
